Patient Consultations

We are the Psychoanalytic Association of New York (PANY), a talk therapy and educational center affiliated with NYU Langone Health. Our Consultation and Treatment Service offers affordable psychotherapy and psychoanalysis. Patients are paired with psychotherapists who are trained to address the root causes of mood and relationship difficulties, career strife, identity struggles, and other life problems.

On any given day, PANY-trained therapists help those in need reduce day-to-day emotional pain and self-defeating behaviors and increase self-awareness. After therapy many of our patients have reported gains such as: “I now understand my demons;” “I make better choices for myself;” and "I’m much less anxious and stressed.”

And while PANY takes pride in its outstanding clinical work, our treatment programs do not tell the whole story; our Institute is also well known for its world-class educational offerings. Over the past 50 years we have trained over a thousand clinicians in the art and science of analysis and talk therapy.

Psychoanalysis changes lives. Talking about problems with a caring and skilled clinician can help people to feel better. Your tax-deductible donation will support our affordable treatment service and excellent training programs. We are a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt non-profit organization; please consider this opportunity to sponsor our mission. Your generous donation will allow us to continue to offer affordable and effective treatment to residents of NYC, Philadelphia, and their surrounding communities, and educate the next generation of psychoanalytic therapists.
